GSD" presented
by our very own instructor, Barbie Keough. Learn some obedience
training techniques, proper equipment use and helpful hints for the

Proper Paws! - Training Class: Basic Dog Obedience. This 8-week
to All- Breed introductory course in basic obedience
will be taught by

in Europe. A

of legendary herdsmen and their dogs at work--an inspiration
for next month's Herding Clinic. Lodge: 2:00 p.m.

27 Bah Bah Good Sheep - Special Event: TCGSDC Herding Clinic in Malabar.
Caravan to Asher-Dell sheep farm to test your dog's innate herding
instinct. Dogs
will work sheep individually in a round pen & will receive
written evaluation of their herding behavior by AKC Herding Judge and
Asher-Dell owner, Judith Kelly. Barnyard attire. Separate fees and
registration. All day event, departing 8:00 a.m.

Tassel Toss - Graduation Night for Basic Obedience class participants.
AKC Canine Good Citizenship (CGC) Test will be offered. Evaluator:

D (Dogs & Dining): You and your well-
socialized
dog can explore the unique sporting goods at Gander
Mountain
store. Then gather at their cozy outdoor stone-walled
patio for
a terrific afternoon meal and meeting. Gander Mountain's
Tall Tales Restaurant off Northlake Blvd; 4:00 pm.
JUN 26 Rah Rah Rally - Guest Speakers: Michele Panetta & Cindy Ponga
will introduce you and your dog to a basic rally trial course. Have
fun with your GSD at the alternate meeting site in the new Jupiter
Farms Community Center. An AKC Rally Basics course, taught by
Michele, will be offered in the future. Jupiter Farms Community
Pavilion; 1:00 pm.
JUL 24 Dog Day
Afternoon - D &D (Dogs & Dining): Spend an afternoon with
friends and your dog at a shared-dish BBQ. Burgers and dogs, the
edible kind, will be provided. Bring a dish to pass. Dog games with

AUG 21 Teeth
'N Toes - Guest Speaker: Janet Desmond will conduct a hands-on
workshop on the structure and care of the GSD mouth & foot.
Try out various dental aides, nail care tools and products. Bring
your dogs, a toothbrush and their favorite blanket or crate pad.
Canine dental paste will be provided. Don't forget to pack your

training class in

beginning Rally--just in time to enter Rally Novice competition. Dogs

Let's Talk Turkey... and Lamb - Special Event: Herding Clinic II
Back by popular demand, travel north in the carvan to Malabar for
the Herding Instinct seminar and evaluation. Experience the thrill of
Basic Instinct with your dog. Meeting; Nominations for 2012 Board
of Directors; Membership renewals, due by JAN 1, 2012. Asher-Dell
Farm, Malabar; Reservations; all day event departing at 8:00 am.

Doggy Deco - Let's meet in Jupiter Farms to decorate our float for
the
Parade. There's a record to beat from 2010--3rd Place ribbon
for our first time entry of Santa Paws. Bring your creative minds
and your holiday decorations. Member's home; TBA.

Step In Time - Special Event: Parade - Jupiter Farms Community
Parade
staging at noon, march 1:00-3:00 pm for just under 2 miles.
This is an event to remember, so don't miss out. All dogs need to
be on lead, but the wee little ones can ride on the float. Be sure to
bring your elf ears, antlers, and jingle bells.
TCGSDC Fund Raiser: 11 am - 6 pm; Food concessions for Parade &
Craft Show. Members are asked to donate baked goods & schedule
shifts to work concessions. Set-up 9 am. Jupiter Farms Park Pavilion.
DEC 9 Jingle Bones,
Jingle Bones - Holiday Dinner Party and Dog-related
gift exchange. Election of the 2012 Board of Directors. Bring hors
d'oeuvre to share. Cocktail Social with cash bar; Buffet Dinner with
Elections and Gift Exchange to follow. Guests welcomed.

In coordination with the GSDCA, our club will introduce

the public to our GSDs. TCGSDC will be "Ambassadors of the Breed"
at this nationally televisioned event. Orange County Convention
